Liz has been a full-time sales representative with the Ottawa Real Estate Board since 1988. Prior to real estate, she started her career as assistant to the Dean of Trades and Technology with Algonquin College. After ten years she went back to University part-time to complete her Bachelor of Arts while working full time as a Marketing Assistant for Canadian Kenworth Ltd, an international transportation manufacturing company. At Kenworth she was responsible for coordinating all trade shows in Canada and the U.S. along with print and media advertising. After five years the Ottawa office was moved to Toronto but she decided that Ottawa was her home.
Liz then accepted a position with Campeau Corporation, an international home building and land developer in the Land Development Department. Some of the projects she was involved with were Marchwood-Lakeside (now called Kanata Lakes) and Hunt Club Park; she was the Project Manager for Huntwood Court, a seventeen-lot development designated for executive homes in Old Hunt Club, it was then that she decided a profession as a Real Estate Salesperson would best suite her personality and extensive experience. As they say, she has never looked back.
Liz feels very strongly in giving back to the community. Since 1993 she has been a volunteer in many different capacities with the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. She has been President of the Volunteer Association twice and has also served four years as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group.
Whenever Liz takes holidays she goes back to her birthplace, the north-east mountain region of Italy where she enjoys hiking in the famous Dolomite mountains. Her other Italian favourites are The food! The museums! The shopping! Best of all is visiting with her family.
